ANALYSIS The Mayor and City Manager are responsible for developing the City Council Study Session/Special Meeting Schedule. To support advance planning and calendaring for the Mayor and City Councilmembers, a tentative schedule of Study Session/Special Meeting dates for August 2026 through April 2027 has been developed (Attachment). As topics are identified and proposed for the dates included in the attachment, staff will present them to the Rules and Open Government Committee for consideration and approval. The proposed 2026-2027/2027-2028 City Budget Calendar and Budget Study Session Schedule will be presented to the Committee for consideration and approval in the fall.
