Approve a grant to the Preservation Action Council of San Jose to support their 35th anniversary Gala in the amount of $2,000. 2. Forward the item to the City Council for the June 3, 2025 Agenda for approval. BACKGROUND Pursuant to City Council Expenditure and Reimbursement Policy, Policy Number 0-38, Section K “Grants” Item 6 “Any contribution to an organization proposed by the Mayor or a Councilmember who is a member of, or receiving services from, that organization must be approved in advance by the City Council.” I am a member of the Preservation Action Council of San Jose. Approval is requested to expend $2,000 from the budgeted District 3 Council Office allocation to support the Preservation Action Council of San Jose (PAC*SJ) for their 35th anniversary Gala.
